Featuring work by local young artists and special guests.

Earlier this year, we circulated an open call for young artists under 15 who wanted to part of a Christmas exhibition called JOY.

More than 30 young people responded and 21 were shortlisted for exhibition alongside Luke Baker, who won the 2025 Luminance Young & Emerging Artists Prize (age category 15 - 25).

For ballast, we also invited established artists Yvonne Kiley, Jon Dorne, Rose Burke and Malcolm Harding to join this exhibition. These artists illuminate some of the pathways available to young people who want to follow their vision.

Come and experience JOY at Luminance from 20 November until 24 December 2025.

Opening celebration is Friday 5 Dec 2025 from 3.30pm. We would love to see you here.
