JOY is a Christmas exhibition in Port Macquarie by young artists under 15.
We had great success mid-year at Luminance Gallery with the 2025 Young & Emerging Artists Exhibition and Prize. The only thing missing was space for artists under 15.
We’re making good on that by giving Luminance Gallery over to young artists under 15 for a Christmas exhibition called JOY.
Entries are now open. One entry per person. Free to enter.
Because of space restrictions, not all of the artworks submitted for consideration can be exhibited.
The twelve best entries will be shortlisted and exhibited at Luminance Gallery, alongside paintings by Luke Baker* and work by established artists including Rose Burke.
We ask young artists interested in the JOY exhibition to first discuss this with their parent or guardian.
Submissions can be made online, only with the consent of each young entrant’s parent or guardian.
Eligibility is open to young artists under the age of 15 who live on the NSW Mid North Coast. All works must be available for sale.
JOY is produced In association with Drawn to Art and Alice’s Art Craft and Paper Supplies.
* Established Artists Wendy Stokes and Stephen Killick chose Luke Baker’s painting of Little Bay as an outstanding work in the in the 2025 Luminance Young & Emerging Artists Exhibition (young artist category, aged 15 - 25).
