Young Artists open call for ArtWalk x Luminance 2026

Entries are now open for the 2026 ArtWalk x Luminance Young Artists Exhibition.

Hosted by Luminance Art Gallery in partnership with ArtWalk, this exhibition showcases the creative talents of young and emerging artists across the NSW Mid North Coast.

Key Terms & Conditions:

• Eligibility: NSW Mid North Coast artists aged 12 – 24 years.

• Artwork Limits: One artwork per artist may be submitted.

• Size: Artworks must be no bigger than 1m x 1m including frame.

• Works must be original, created by the entrant, and completed after 1 March 2025.

• Presentation: Artworks must be framed (or mounted on foamcore if on paper) and fitted with D-rings for hanging.

• Submission/Collection: Entries are online. Selected works must be delivered and collected at specified times; uncollected work cannot be stored.

• Categories: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking. 

• Key Dates (2026)

  • Entries open: 31 March (9.00am).

  • Entries close: 5 May (9.00am).

  • Selection Notification: 8 May (5:00 pm)

  • Delivery of selected works: 31 May - 1 June (10.00am – 4.00pm)

  • Exhibition of selected works: 5 June (5.00pm - 9.00pm)

  • Collection: 6 June (10.00am - 3.00pm)

  • Fees

    • Entry Fee: $0

  • Presentation & Care

    • Requirements: Clearly labeled on the back, with D-rings attached for hanging.

    • Responsibility: Artists must insure their own work; Luminance Art Gallery is not liable for damage or theft.

    • Rights: Luminance Art Gallery and ArtWalk may photograph works for promotional purposes.
